The Garden State Effect

I found a nice post trying to define the ever difficult difference between mainstream and indie love

    i would find a huge amount of personal gusto in
    drop-kicking your pansy ass to cleveland where maybe
    you would have a chance at being "cool" working at a
    coffee house since you're obviously is so jaded about
    your high-school-hazed-by-jocks past...to you i say
    fucking get over yourself. you think you're the only
    one who has ever been picked on? who has the capacity
    to feel pain? so you're entitled for a lifelong
    revenge of being uppity to the world?

    buy a dead milkmen's album and fucking lighten up.
    and maybe you'll find better things to do with your
    time then making macoroni necklaces and babbling on
    and on about moving to williamsburg and becoming a
    hipster, a tastemaker, or wait a fucking pretentious
    asshole.

    look i am not saying i support chach monkeys by any
    means. i just can't stand fucking whiners. my bad.
